Auckland based textile designer, Tess Seven, combines her watercolour illustrations and textile background,
to create nature inspired homewares. Focusing on colour and light within her works.
Hand sketched floral designs with painted washes and layers of watercolours were used to
create these romantic summer textiles. Tess favours the use of watercolour and gouache paints as it lends
itself to create illustrations full of luminosity and fluidity.
The paintings are then translated and printed onto a soft linen, complementing the nature of artwork.
